Brandan “Bmike” Odums is a highly sought after visual artist and filmmaker who uses these chosen mediums to tell stories and make statements that transform the minds of viewers as well as the spaces in which his work appears.

In 2016 Brandan debuted his first solo show in New Orleans in a 35,000 sq ft warehouse named #StudioBe. Welcoming hundreds of visitors a week as well as school tours from around the region.

Studio BE is a 35,000 sq ft warehouse in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans, LA. BMIKE's solo show “Ephemeral Eternal” is a calumniation of everything he learned from Project BE and Exhibit BE as well as exploring his truth as an artist. It was an ambitious project, 6 months in the making, most of the work done in spray paint. It opened in February 2016 and has been open to the public since.

In 2013, Brandan completed a series of graffiti murals depicting iconic African American civil rights leaders at the Hurricane Katrina damaged Florida Avenue public housing complex in New Orleans’ 9th Ward. Given the name #ProjectBe, the space unexpectedly received national attention bringing spectators from all over to see the art before the deserted complex’s set demolition date.2941 Royal St, New Orleans, LA 70117

This event is being sponsored by the AIA Emerging Professionals, a group of young architects, designers, and leaders dedicated to issues and ideas relevant to young professionals in New Orleans A/E/C community.
