AIA New Orleans is pleased to offer AIA members an opportunity to learn about Speech Privacy in Office Design by Armstrong World Industries.

This presentation reviews research documenting the link between office noise and worker effectiveness. The program addresses special acoustical issues in open plan offices, and the key measurements to use when selecting acoustical ceilings for open plan environments. Finally, the course outlines a balanced acoustical design approach to use when selecting ceilings, furniture systems, and masking to enhance speech privacy.
