Join AIA New Orleans for our first Mardi Gras in our Lee Circle location! If you have been looking for a place to view the best parades Mardi Gras has to offer, then look no further than the AIA New Orleans Center for Design. Along with our exterior platform stands at one of the most premier viewing spots in the city, you are also welcome to 'rest' in the Center away from the crowds, where you can catch the parade from a unique interior window view perspective as it rolls by. A private bathroom, light snacks, beer and water are all included with your donation.
As a non-profit organization, all donation proceeds go directly back into AIA New Orleans' programming budget to offer public educational opportunities on architecture, design, sustainability and the entire built community. We hope you can join us for Mardi Gras, and help our worthy cause!

Stands and AIA New Orleans Center for Design are open from 5:00pm (or 45 minutes before the start of the first parade) and closed by 9:00pm.
Donations for February 11 are $35 per person and include access to the stands, a private bathroom, light snacks, beer and water. (Donation prices vary per parade day, please click on dates below for individual parade day information). To make your donation, please click on the 'Register for Event Now' link above.
Stands are raised platform/stage type with no seating and no covering. All stands are non-reserved first come first serve basis. Donations are non refundable. No ice chests, chairs, strollers or smoking allowed in the stands. AIA New Orleans reserves the right to remove anyone from the stands and/or property. Opening and closing times for stands may vary dependant upon parade delays.
